Challenge

The association needed a brand identity that would reflect its commitment to education, inclusivity, and intercultural communication while also appealing to both students and professionals. The challenge was to balance tradition and modernity in a way that felt academic yet approachable.

I was responsible for creating a comprehensive visual identity system that included:

  • Logo Design
  • Color Palette & Typography
  • Brand Guidelines
Design Concept

The logo incorporates a stylized blend of the letters "N" and "G" subtly forming a speech bubble—representing dialogue and connection. The color scheme includes a strong blue for professionalism, paired with a vibrant red accent, inspired by the German flag, to reflect heritage and energy.

Typography choices lean on modern sans-serifs for readability and a clean academic feel, while maintaining warmth and personality. Visual elements like simplified icons and layered motifs were used to represent growth, exchange, and learning.

Result

The rebranded company experienced increased customer engagement, a boost in sales, and a stronger brand presence in the market.
